About Villa St. Vincent

Delivering compassionate care that’s rooted in our Catholic values, Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, Minn., is affiliated with the non-profit Benedictine Health System. We are committed to serving everyone of any faith in a friendly environment with a true sense of community. We provide holistic senior care and services in Short Term Care and Rehabilitation; also called Transitional Care or Post Acute Care, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care and Memory Care.

Our System

We are a member organization of the Benedictine Health System, which is headquartered in Duluth, Minn., and sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery. As one of the largest Catholic senior care organizations in the United States, BHS has approximately 30 senior care communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Our History Benedictine Roots Duluth Srs

In 1950 St. Francis Hospital was built to carry out the ministry of Mother Eustachia and the 42 sisters who came to Crookston, Minn., from Duluth. This building later became The SUMMIT Apartments. In 1979 Villa St. Vincent was constructed. Since our beginning, we have grown and changed with our community to bring needed care and services to northwestern Minnesota.

 Our Mission and Values

Based on the Gospel and Chapter 36 of the Rule of St. Benedict, our Mission and Values direct our compassionate care. Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice, our Benedictine Core Values, guide us every day as we deliver senior housing and senior care to those in need.
